ROACHES, CHARGING FOR A VACANT APARTMENT

I moved into Briarwood Apartments at State College a few months ago for a short term lease till a more permanent apartment could become available. Since move in, there have been ROACHES everywhere!

In my food, in the bathroom, even in my bed! I contacted them to bring in an exterminator, which they did. The following day, I find dozens of newborn roaches in my bathtub!!! The problem has continued and has gotten worse.

As my date for a new lease approaches, I went to the office to talk with them about the transfer. They are trying to charge me for 12 days of rent for an apartment that will be vacant and no longer in my possession! How is it that they can do that?! I raised my concern to the office and was waiting on a call from the property manager that never came.

$429 for a place that would be empty!!!!! Talk about poor customer satisfaction!!!! I even tried to find a phone number for the corporate office in King of Prussia, that number was nowhere to be found!

I am really, really mad at this whole situation! When the leases were talked about, it was said in the meeting that it would be a straight swap of places, FAR FROM!

SECENA BAY APARTMENTS

Secena Bay is the worst complex ever they charge a lot for rent and charge for gas and the water bill is to high also i know that Bge is suppose to charge for gas butm why is expensive Seneca Bay charging for gas to.

Morgan Properties bullies tenants in East Brunawick

On Thursday July 13 all the tenants at Cranbury Crossing receives a notice telling us to remove eveeything ofd our terraces for 3 weeks, starting Monday July 17.. are you kidding me.

The *** new Property Manger even had the audacity to write that they do not have to give as a date and we muat comply. I will be sending out petutions thsi weekend wiah us luck. We pay to p dollar to live there vecause of the grounds, and all my neighbors i are ao upset WTH arr we suppposes tp do with our beautifuk flowera plants and vegetable plants for 3 weeks in the middle of summer!!! The management shoukd be more concetned with tenant satiafaction than waahing the side of the walls whoch can be done in the fall.

Most people do it the beginnung of Spring. NO , my felliw neighbors and I wilk not be bulliez into a poor aiality of life and management needz to underatand Alao where do I send my bill for the meat and other itema that have been riomes because my freezer does jot shut and maintanance and the property manager have vedn on notice for. Year and again three weeks ago.. tenant complaints ate NOT a joke please gace someon contact md asap before i can organize a rent strike, almy bank has alreadt agreed to manage the account to refrain from paying Morgan Properties while we file our class action against Morgan Properties and the property manger will be named personally, just for being a non caring b...h,, should any actions be done that will alter our quaity of life.

I have been at northwest crossing before morgan properties came in. Maintenance wasnt the best but they came to fix what we called for. 6 yrs i have been here they wont come and refinish the tub and we cant get any blinds. Everything is extra now 170 for the tub and 120 for blinds so basically I am going to have to pay for my own maintenance to be done. What a way to rip people off my God. These are thing they should keep on rotation then once I leave (a loyal rent payer) they are gonna charge us. I am so done with morgan properties.

I have been a resident at Taylor Park Apartments in Parkville, MD for three years now. I asked a year and a half ago for maintenance to fix my leaky tub and moldy tile in bathroom.

Their idea of fixing the problem was to put a splash guard on the tub, never extracting the mold. Its very dark, ive been kind of concerned, but clearly they arent. Fast forward to January of this year, i receive a letter stating that my lease is terminating on April 30th, 2017. Halfway down the sheet, it states: " You must return this Renawal Notice Notifying us of your decision by this date: March 1, 2017 (the "Notice Date).

Failure to return the Renewal Notice AND sign the new lease by the Notice Date will result in your lease not being renewed, and you must vacate at the expiration of the current lease term." Pretty cut and dry, i bought a house and closed March 31st on it, but the leasing office reached out asking about our intent to stay or leave on the 27th of march. I explained the letter, to which their response was, "well, im sorry for the confusion, but this isnt how our policy works.

Worst case scenario you will still havento pay through May 27th as that is the 60 day period." I will not be paying for this, and they have been nothing but rude and arguementative when approached about concerns regarding rent/maintenance. DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND STAY AWAY FROM THIS PROPERTY!!!!!!!!

Horrible!

I have only moved in a month ago and I already have had such a negative experience renting with Rolling Gardens and even more extensively Morgan Properties. First off the process to even get into the apartment was suppose to take days, wound up taking weeks which extended our move in date to June first. Upon moving in we filled out the inspection for the apartment and had listed several things that needed to be fixed. Upon calling the headquarters in Franklin Lakes, it was hard to even reach someone on the phone to discuss a matter or to even have a question answered as to how to pay rent. Upon moving in we were informed that the pool was opened on Memorial Day weekend, which was a huge reason as to why we even chose to rent and reside here. Now, it is over a month later and the pool is still not opened. Every time I call, I get a different excuse as to why the pool is not open, which is extremely unprofessional and not fair seeing all of the families and children that would be poolside during these hot summer days. Clearly stating on the outside of the fence, the pool is closed due to the fact that there is electrical problems with it, however, when even looking at the pool, it is in no condition to be opened up again. If I went ahead and contacted the board of health, which I would like to avoid, I'm sure that they would close the pool for even longer seeing as it is green and filled with muck. The pool water is so low that even if the filter was working, it would not even be able to filter the water correctly. Ive called numerous times and every time I am given a different answer as to when the pool will be open. Now, living here for a month, the pool is still not opened and this is an amenity that is included within the rent. Seeing as it is not open, I do not believe that I should have to pay my full rent when Morgan Properties is not including the proper amenities that said would be provided. Also, two of the dryers within the complex, do not even work making it inconvenient for every resident that lives here. Another reason why I have moved in here was the 24-hour maitenince that was said to be available. I had put in an emergency work request in regards to my kitchen sink, and still have had not even a call or a follow up email addressing the issue or ensuring that my request would be fulfilled. I understand work needs to be approved, but the lack of communication as well as availability and proficenciy of the maintenance staff leave the renter uneasy when a maintenance issue arises. I am appalled by this entire situation and am regretting moving into this complex, and I have only been here for a month. I hope through this email as well as through contact with some of my neighbors that issues within this apartment complex can be fixed to increase the standard of living for all who reside here.

Harassment for rent

I just moved in July 12th and I had surgery on the 18th of July. Yes my rent will be late for aug because I am out on disability so I have to wait until that kicks in.

I am trying to heal and I am getting harassed about my rent payment. If I had know this I wouldn't have moved here.

Security Deposit Refund - 703 Charring Terrace Towson, MD

The Colony at Towson rental office has not contacted me again regarding questions and concerns with my security deposit refund. Each time I call I get voicemail, I leave a message and no response. Now I am emailing the manager, ahouston@***s. Still no response after many days. I finally contacted the Morgan Properties Corporate Headquarters to include them in my request for some form of customer service, but have not heard from them. I am forwarding pictures of the kitchen and countertop in question. These countertops are a laminate layover which are in need of updating, along with cabinets, flooring and more. They are charging me $150 to replace countertops. This is not a scenario where you can back charge the previous tenant for “OLD” items in need of replacement that were existing in the apartment when we moved in. I have attached a copy of the final invoice and the refund check. I am in agreement with all charges with the exception of the $150 for countertops. I am also a property manager and manage several properties myself, so I am well versed on what items can be charged to a tenant as “beyond normal wear and tear” damage which this is not. Please get back to me asap regarding this matter so that we can come to a quick resolution to this matter.

Loose dogs in Painted Post, NY

I'm Muslim and I know that I live in a complex that has a large number of dogs. I have complained at the office on multiple occasions that the people who live on the pond with a yellow lab at Dreams Lane East, have the dog loose constantly.

The woman even lets the dog run loose around the pond and one evening the dog ran loose through the parking lot. Children had to let the woman know her dog was terrorizing the neighbors. The office staff are kind and professional but when you have a couple that do not want to live by community rules or even abide by the pet contract THEY signed by failing to keep their dog on a leash; this tells me that they have no interest in keeping the peace with different cultures or religions in the complex. He drives a red jeep and she drives a silver Kia.

I believe the woman's name is Cecelia. I think they need to be fined or asked to leave the complex if their dog is incapable of being leashed or they themselves don't want to live with the rules established by Morgan Communities to keep us all safe.

I live in the willows apartments in glen burnie amd i have had nothimg but a beyond horrible experience here. When we started the lease agreement process we had to sign a lease 4 different times.

One because the managemant was smart enough to realoze that they werent open on sunday and 2 other times for thier own mistakes. But the last one was because they changed our move in date without telling us. I showed up with a moving truck full of stuff and got turned away with nowhere to go. When we actually moved in the closet doors were already broken and a few days after moving in our dishwasher broke and our house was full of stinking water.

They came out to fix it and didnt end up fixing it at all... yet charged 40 sum dollars for the work. Our dishwasher has towels underneath it now so we can use our sink. Those two things shouldnt even be connected.

And now weve been waiting on 2 different inspections that have never showed up and the more i call, the more the management here doesnt know. And they told me to wait for inspection to come to olace any service calls. They dont want to handle it now... so today, about 3 months after i have moved in, im going to ask the leasing office for a print out of our lease and have them circle the part that states how we can get out of our lease FOR ME because i will not be putting up with this carelessness much longer.

WHERE SHOULD I START HMMM WEWLL THE APARTMENT IS RAT INFETED WE PAY FOR PEST CONTROL BUT NO ONE COMES TO DO ANY THING THEY ARE SUPPOSE TO COME OOUT EVERY WED HA NEVER SEEN NO PERST PEOPLE BUT I DO SEE RAT *** ALL IN MY KITCHEN. THEN I HAVE NO HOT WATER THEY REPLACED THE TANK WHICH THAT ONE DID NOT WORK SO THEY REPLACED AGAIN LOL GUESS WHAT THAT ONE DONT WORK EITHER. THE WALL WHEERE MY HOT WATER HEATER IS AT IS MOLDED AND THE DOOR THAT USE TO BE THERE IS STANDIND AGAINST A WALL , THE DOOR FRAME IS STUFFED WITH STEEL WOOL IM GUESSING TO KEEP THE MICE AWAY GUESS WHAT ITS NOT WORKING. Worst management

Worst apartment complex ever!!!Highly DONT recommend. Management is the worst. Very rude ladies in the office. Maintenance is the worst. I had 2 washers in my kitchen for a little over 2 months because they're so busy they couldn't come pick it up. These kids in the areas always breaking into cars. (Breaking cop car windows all over the neighborhood) . People getting shot up(actually died) right infront of my balcony. Never received my gym key/pool pass as much as I ask for it and I'm 11/12 months in To my lease. Called for repairs till today no one shows up. Please don't move here. If I can rate 0 stars I would. Worst complex ever. Don't move here save yourself time/money. They put eviction notices same day as eviction. They're not right. Please don't move here. They don't care about your privacy.
