Disingenuous referral program

I moved in recently in February, and my friend was looking for a place during that time, so I referred her. Flash to March 9th, and I was in the leasing office filling out the referral form with Ms.

Williams, after my friend visited the office, and filled out one of her own, with the other leasing agent. My issue is that after all of this, and with no correspondence with the office, I emailed Ms. Williams and asked her about the situation - she said she would followup with me about it. A week later I messaged the property manager, and after she looked into it, said that I was inelligible, because my friend didn't make a note online through her application.

My friend then went to the office, and informed them that she did use my name, because if that was the case, why did we both fill out the forms??? It has been 3 months since my friend moved to this property, and it is ridiculous of the staff to lie like that.

I moved out at the end of September from the Charlesmont Location in Baltimore MD. I called the officer to verify they had the correct address and they did.

Figured it would take about 60 days but honestly they already listed on their site deductions for repairs and the amount I’m owed. They should’ve sent the check by now.

Parking Payment and Rent Increase

The environment is vandalized all the time, my car window was broken and nothing has happened to improve security, tenants parking shrank with the reserved pay parking. Now they want the visitors to pay to park exactly like in downtown.

This is the breakpoint.

I am sorry to read about your experience in your community. We are offering paid parking for visitors from 9am-8pm to help keep vehicles that should not be there off the community, which will open more spaces for residents. Please make sure you contact the police and your insurance company about any concerns with your vehicle.

On Fri.7/20 I contacted property manager telling her about a dimmed light at the entrance and an incident requiting the need for its replacement. A maintenance man Mr.

G. came to my door Monday wanting to know the light that is out. He would not fix it.

I contacted you two days ago an you said it would be replaced. No light bulb replaced.

The maintenance, Mr.G assigned to fix things

in my apartment building replaces it as his own discretion.

If he wouldn't replace it Monday he wouldn't do so when requested again Cry . He'd obviously have have something happen to me and face be in court someday Cry Cry Wtf Wtf Wtf Wtf

As you can see this is a picture of a roach i caught crawling on my 2 year old sippy cup! i am so disgusted at tye sanitary conditions here and the worst part is i have put in a 30 day notice to vacate because we refuse to endure this sanitary conditions and yet we recieved a letter informing us we have to pay a early termination fee when clearly these are not sanitary conditions that we pay to live in!

I cant believe this.

I would not recommend living here at Columbia Pointe as tgey are not currently providing Sanitary Conditions and they are always looking for a way to add fees on everything all the way to the key fob $50 to enter building and tge access entry box doesnt even Work! Dont waste money or risk family health!

We moved into the Townhomes at Diamond Ridge on Sept. 29.2017.

We contacted the rental office immediately as we found a mouse in our home on move in day. After 3 requests to maintenance they sent the Orion man out and he set traps all around the house and put glue traps over *** in the utility closet which we believe they were coming out of. He came back about a week later and we found we caught 5 mice. That is rediculous.

We have bought traps ourselves and caught some. Now there are more around the house and they are bold. We have been putting in requests to get this problem solved and nothing has happened. As we have only been here for about 3 months this problem has been ongoing.

Please fix this issue.

There are mouse turds everywhere in our hallway closets and I mean it’s disgusting. It’s an infestation at this point and I am not a happy camper.

On May 1st i made my first maintenance call to inform them that my air is not working. I then again made 2 more calls on May 5 & 6th. Today i made 3 calls alone trying to get someone out to fix my air. My air still does it work and tomorrow 5/12/18 it is supposed to be 91degrees. I don’t understand why it takes me to make a complaint on here for someone to reach out. This is the worst company I have ever rented from!!

We have no air conditioning at Towers of Windsor Park. This will be the second year without air conditioning on by Memorial Weekend.

The lease clearly states that air conditioning is on by May 12th. They "fix" it and then it breaks again overnight.

The air conditioning units are old and out dated. Maybe start fixing the air conditioning in April so that by May 12th the air is actually working.

We have been in constant contact with the leasing office for months here also have attempted contact with regional with no luck. We have had problems with our lease being autorenewed & our property not being upkept even after various maintenance issues and calls.

We then were given the option to transfer our lease to another party. We paid 100$ and signed forms.

We’re told that we would be able to turn in our keys & move forward.

3 weeks later they take it back & say it’s on us to figure it out. This is ridiculous

Its the worst experience i ever had because my apartment stays smelling stink and i have to rewash the dishes because it doesn't wash properly and i'm disabled.

my dishwasher is not working properly for the last year still cannot get a new one after several attempts to fix it.and i am disabled and when i complain nothing is being done about it. i'm very frustrated at this point and it is not healthy for me and my family to have that dishwasher in the apartment smelling the way it does and it does not wash the dishes properly and i have to rewash the dishes it is costing me more money having that dishwasher in the apartment because i have to pay for water.I spoke to kelly the manager and she told me i'm not getting a new dish washer until they try and fix it again i'm at fox run apartment's in bear delaware.

We toured at a property in Maryland and proceeded to apply and pay to hold an apartment while we shopped around. We were from out of state and our representative was on his last day and just joked around with us the entire time.

We get a call 4 days after we do this to be told our money would only be refunded after 3 days. They never once told us that and made no effort to contact us earlier. When we called back the man said he had heard our rep tell us, and said he had witnessed us agreeing to it but we wouldn't have agreed to that and also he was across the room with other leasers. We tried calling back but the number directed us to an offsite call center like all the other numbers listed online for the property.

Rude service for shabby, decrepit apartments. STAY AWAY!

WARNING; What your going to read will OutRage you! I lived at Mariners Cove for over 3 yrs and once called it my home.

Went on every site giving grand reviews every where. Within the first 6 months I lived there I thought everyone was so friendly, even the Maintence manager. Saying hello all the time, asking me if I needed anything every time he saw me. His name was Neil for those of you that moved in when they first Re-Opened.

I did have a Maintence issue and Neil came to take care of it. My roommate was at work at this time so I was the only one there when he showed up. As he is in my apt working, his friendly chats turned to SEXUAL HARASSMENT. Not aggressively, but was 100% sexual harassment.

I didn't know what to do at time, most say well I would of told him to get the F&&ok out. NO you wouldn't, because that's what I would of said to someone also. No one understands until it happens to them. The only thing I could do was not answer him and act like everything was fine because I didn't Want to turn aggressive.

So what I did was hit voice record on my phone!! lol I have a workers comp lawyer and when I went to go speak to him I through what happened with him in to our conversation and let him listen to recording. He advised me of the laws and how I could sue Morgan Properties Corp because he was working while this happened. He made a copy and told me if I want to pursue this I have 1 yr but the sooner the better.

He also advised me Not to let anyone at all listen to recording. At that time only my roommate had heard it. As days went by, I started feeling very withdrawn and was constantly trying to figure out what made him think he can speak to me that way. Then I started thinking it was something I did!!

When I saw him around my building I wouldn't go outside, if I saw white van I would go outside. Then 1 night I had dinner at my neighbors I had just met which she also happens to work in leasing office. She did not like him very much because of the way he spoke in front of her. So I ended up telling her what happened and also that I didn't know what to do because now I was worried if he does this to someone else maybe younger or more naive that something very bad could happen.

Then on the other hand I was also scared to say anything because of repercussions from him. The next day she called me and told me she told the property manager what happened but anonymously. She asked if she could tell Kayte PM at time it was me. I told her my concerns but decided to say ok tell her.

Later on I received a call from Kayte about what happened and told me she needed to take a report. I was hysterically crying as I had to repeat his disgusting words and Kayte not one time apologized for what happened nor acted like she cared! I was told from her she will tell me what is going on with him after she speaks to him. Over a week went by and I didn't leave my apt, I was on Workers Comp at the time and I needed medication to pick up.

My neighbor that lives next door was on break and stopped over and I was extremely upset because I couldn't leave apt because he was working on my building at that time. So she offered to go to Walgreens and pick up my Med for me. She had left and I get a text from HIM!! I started shaking and I couldn't even read it.

My neighbor came back with my medication and saw I was a mess and was giving her my phone to see the text which I still did not read cause I was an anxious mess! I was in bathroom with door open and she was in my kitchen while reading it. I remember very clearly Hearing her say " Thst *** Mother F$&$er just admitted it!! I ran out and was like What?

What does it say?? She read it out to me and It stating; Kayte the PM did not say it was me that made the complaint/Report, BUT from what she had said to him, HE ONLY HAD SAID HAD TO ME AND WAS VERY SORRY!!! Proof of admittance right there. My neighbor called Kate immediately after reading it and read it to her.

I never saw him again after that day. The best thing out of this is that I never received a call from Kayte telling me what was going on or what was going to happen, most importantly now that he proved himself guilty, I never even recieved an apology from anyone from Mariners Cove or Morgan Prop. I didn't tell anyone else because I felt so ashamed!! But let's skip all the in between things because there is just to much to write and let's go to March 2017 for now!

I will write everything but this is the big one. I was once a Flight Attendant and had to resign in August of 2016 due to Health issues only related to flying. Was Diagnosed with severe vertigo after 4 yrs of flying. I loved it so much and tried my best to continue flying for the next yr but continuined to get acute vertigo attacks.

On June 15/2016 I was hospitalized because of an attack and that is when I made decion to resign!! I was able to work but I could no longer fly. From that moment to now, it has been nothing but a struggle to find something I love doing, making enough to cover all bills and it being stable. I lost 46 lbs and my hair was falling out all due to financial stress and keeping a roof over my head.

All my friends and my boyfriend live in Mariners cove and with out there support everyday I would of been doomed due to depression. But because I was surround d by ppl I loved and loved me I knew everything would be ok. Eventually, by March -April I could not make my rent of $1680.00 and was going to get evicted. I made a payment plan with them in court but I was relying on my fed tax refund to bail me out in time.

Well refund did not come and I defaulted on agreement. I spoke to new PM Jehna asking for 2 weeks tops and was told NO. If balance wasn't paid by certain date on agreement she calling for Removal. I Understand this is a business and they want there money but geez.

After that I looked at the positive in it. The financial stress I was under would be gone. I was planning on staying with my aunt and or my Grandmother but my dog (service dog was not allowed) cause of my grandmothers health. Plus my BF and my friends said I could stay with them until I got on my feet.

So I started packing up which was very hard emotionally for me. But again I had so much support from my friends. ALL WHOM LIVE IN MARINERS COVE!!! My eviction date was May 1st at 8:30 AM.

I received a text which I will also show from neighbor who works in leasing office stating that if I drop off key before May 1 st it's NOT considered a Eviction but a Judgement!! So I did all of that! Then I emailed Jehna telling her I dropped ifff key. It I will have to come back with MOVERS because my Bedroom set is very HEAVY ands needs disassembling.

My tenant rights state I have 33 days after sending written letter that proberty left behind IS IN FACT NOT ABANDONED AND I WILL BE COMING BACK FOR IT. Now this part is where it goes sideways very quickly and intentionally and caused me to become homeless and put in the hospital for 9 full days!!! I received email from Jehna stating that if I do not get my Bedroom set out that day, it will be Morgan Property's property. I relayed back about my rights and how many days I knew I had but SHE USED A SCARE TACTIC,Stating Because I dropped of my key the day before I SURRENDERED!!

Lol I called lawyer asap put couldn't get in touch with her about this. I left a vm but my boyfriend came through and found guys to move it that day! Then lawyer calls me back and I explained and shared all emails and was told I was Again FOOLED!! But it was too late because I wanted it out and this to be over with and move on.

I had stayed at my BF for a few nights (lives in Mariners cove) also with my Grandmothers for a couple. My dog was staying with my Boyfriend everyday and night since this happened. Especially because he is my Service dog, I was going to be going to Mariners cove to see him everyday! Then I get another email from Jehna stating she heard I'm residing in an apt in Mariners Cove and every adult residing there needs to pass a criminal background check, the person will receive a cease n desist letter!!

Now that's funny because I was just a resident a few days ago and was EVICTED FOR NON PAYMENT OF RENT ONLY!! I'm not a Criminal, I'm not a Disorderly Tenant never was!! If anything I'm Desirable for the entire community!! Through over 20 text between Jehna n myself about my car being reported seen in parking lot, being TOLD that I WAS PERMITTED TO STAY A FEW NIGHTS WEEKLY AS A GUEST AT MY BOYFRIENDS and that would also go for my other friends that have there own apts there.

GREAT....I stayed with my gam a few nights, came to MC during day but parked my car around block in Green Island because I'm broke and my car is not on there property, so who am I bothering?!

On May 8,9, and day of May 10 I was at Boydriends apt and slept there a few nights like she said I could until at 4:30 she had me escorted off property!! I shall continue this but have to go to work.

Mariners Cove is beautiful, love living there, the people are so friendly and I'm having so much fun. The office managers are always so helpful.

I have been going through it with the staff at 225 berkman drive. This all started when they towed my car due to a snow storm. I did notify the office that I was unable to move my car as I was eight months pregnant and my husband was at work. My car was still towed. Why was my car towed when this snow storm pass and the same warning was sent out to all tentants and a car that was there on the lot in the same spot for months is still on the lot in the same spot covered in snow. It was not towed. It stayed there untill the ice melt off it. So why some tenants get certain privillage and other tenants dont. I lost my car to the towing company. Then another incident took place. My toilet was broken over the weekend. I called a few times on Saturday no answer. I called Sunday left voice mail and 19 times on Monday still no answer. All this time I had to put my hand in the toilet to flush it. That same Monday afternoon I decided to call again and I waited outside the office, only to see Monica sitting there with a client and the phone rang continously till it went to voicemail. When I ask why I got ignore and brush to the side. These staff do not do their job and they dont answer the phone. I was upset and yes I got mad. After 19 calls and then you see your call is been ignore on purpose of course anybody would get upset. Instead of addressing the sistuation. I was told not to come back to the office or ill be evicted. How is that fair and where is the justice in that. Now the staff do not respond to my calls or email and I cant go to the office. So what am I to do. Now this is my current sistuation with them. I have to pay the balance of my rent by the 31 of January. My rent is 1347.00 and I owed two months plus legal fees. I paid January rent and Jewish Family assisted me and paid 1347 for December. I currently balance the legal fees and other fees but am not 100% sure because they wont answer my calls. I send email and left voice mail but no answer. I honestly feel this company is trying to let my time run out to pay my rent so they can evict me. Here is why. Jewish family service needed a reciept in order to pay December rent. I called Monica told her I paid my rent and I have my reciept. I told her JFS need a reciept from the company. She told me she cant give me a reciept because its not clear in the system but she would fax it next day when it clear, only to find out she didnt and no body notify me. I email Liia who later claim she email the reciept but there was no email. I had to ask her to send me the reciept that she claim to send. Now I have about 4 days left and I am calling the office and I send email but no answer. I need to know if they recieved the 1347.00 from JFS and whats my balance to pay it. It is unfair that resident have to deal with this. I personally dont care how rude or unprofessional they are. All I ask is that staff do their job. Answer the phone and response to client. One person can lie but if so many people are saying the same think and have negative experiences, then something is wrong. Staffs are the one giving company bad name and there should be no reason why tentants are been treated this way. This company is bais and thier staff dont do their job. They get to do whatever and Management support their behavior...just sad this is what I have to deal with. I wish I didnt live here but I do and am in a lease...just sad.
